SEWordPress is a security enhancement to WordPress which allows users and administrators more control over access control.
Access can be constrained on such variables as which users, plugins and themes can access which resources. These resources may take the form of files or database tables. Standard WordPress access controls, such as user levels are modifiable by the user and the plugins and themes which the user runs. Conversely, SEWordPress access controls are determined by a policy loaded on the web server and PHP module which may not be changed by careless users or misbehaving plugins or themes.
SEWordPress also adds finer granularity to access controls. Instead of only being able to specify who can read or write a content, for example, SEWordPress lets you specify who can create or delete content, change setting, and so on. You may also group users. SEWordPress allows you to specify access to many resources other than files as well, such as network resources and databases.
Currently, we provide SEWordPress for our partners and and their affiliates only.
